I just wanted to thank you for your focus and efficiency in selling my Cafe in May 2016.
Jim, I have tried twice before to sell my business through Sydney Business Exchange.
Essentially, I feel the the standard of Business Brokers in Sydney, generally speaking is extremely poor.
I came to this conclusion on two occassions
- 5 years ago when I was trying to buy a Cafe
- and again over the last two years trying to sell my Cafe
It seems that Business Brokerage has lost its old fashion ‘good manners’ . . They never walked me through the process like you did, I was comfortable from day 1 that you not only would be the best Broker, but that you would sell my Cafe at a fair price within an efficient timeline.
Your high standards of selling a business, in my opinion are
- You gain a good understanding of the current owners strength and weaknesses
- You can picture exactly who would be the best buyer . . their skills and demographic to suit the business ‘for sale’
- Then you work harder than I ever expected,
Honestly Jim, your good nature is what you sell best, but most of all your honesty is what I remember most.
Finally, I believe my Cafe sold well . . the price was fair and a Win/Win for both parties
